Find a rope to climb up to Ashenshire and interact with it. Once you're at the top, the first NPC you'll encounter is Madonna the Stable Master. Approach her and select "I have a package for you." She will accept the package. To complete the quest, simply backtrack south to Wayshire.

Upon returning to Wayshire, speak to Jimmy the Stable Master again (he'll have an exclamation mark above his head). He will reward you with a Saddle, which won't appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss or sale.
