Following a minor leak last week, EA has officially announced the title of its upcoming Star Wars game: Star Wars: Zero Company. This exciting new addition to the Star Wars gaming universe is being developed by Bit Reactor, with support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn.

The first and only official artwork for Zero Company has been released, giving fans a glimpse into what's to come. While details are still scarce, we do know that Star Wars: Zero Company will be a "single-player turn-based tactics game." Fortunately, we won't have to wait long for more information, as EA has promised a first look at the game on April 19 at Star Wars Celebration in Japan.
Bit Reactor, the developer behind Zero Company, is a newly-formed strategy game studio established in 2022. The team is composed of industry veterans from renowned titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. It's been known for some time that Bit Reactor was working on a Star Wars game in collaboration with Respawn, but this is the first time we've received concrete details about the project.
Regarding Respawn's involvement, the exact extent of their contribution remains somewhat ambiguous. Respawn has faced several challenges recently, including the cancellation of its own Star Wars FPS project a year ago, accompanied by significant layoffs at EA, and the cancellation of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.
More details about Star Wars: Zero Company will be unveiled during a live panel on Saturday, April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. For fans in the U.S., that translates to an early morning reveal at 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so be sure to set your alarms!
