Puella Madoka Magica Magia Exedra (we'll just call it Magia Exedra from now on) is adding a new character: the fan-favorite Ren Isuzu! This announcement follows a hugely successful pre-registration campaign that garnered over half a million sign-ups.
Magia Exedra is a fully 3D, turn-based RPG based on the beloved anime series. The game brings the dark, compelling story of Puella Madoka Magica to mobile, offering a fresh take on the magical girl genre. Ren Isuzu, a shy yet strong magical girl, joins the roster, strengthening the bonds between characters.
This addition of Ren is a pleasant surprise for fans, as the pre-registration rewards focused on existing characters rather than new additions.
The irony isn't lost that Puella Madoka Magica, known for its deconstruction of the magical girl trope, has become a merchandising powerhouse. Its international popularity fuels this success.
Magia Exedra showcases a significant leap forward in mobile gaming visuals, transitioning from 2D to a fully realized 3D world with stunning battle effects. Fans who loved the original anime's animation will find much to appreciate here.
