Pokémon TCG Pocket Is Dropping a Trade Feature and Space-Time Smackdown Expansion Soon

Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket fans! Exciting updates are on the horizon with the introduction of trading and the Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Soon, you'll have the chance to swap cards with your friends, enhancing your gaming experience and building your dream deck.

When Is Pokémon TCG Pocket Dropping Space-Time Smackdown and Trading?

Mark your calendars! Starting January 29th, 2025, trading will be available in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Just a day later, on January 30th, 2025, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion will launch. This update not only introduces new content but also revamps your digital binder and display board with stunning new covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.

The long-awaited trade feature is finally here! To trade cards, you'll need two new items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Keep in mind, you can only trade cards up to rarity levels 1-4 and ★1. Initially, trading will be limited to cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, but the developers have promised to expand tradeable cards in future updates.

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion dives into the Sinnoh region, bringing with it two new booster packs centered around the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia. Along with these legends, you'll find new card illustrations and the beloved Sinnoh starters: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, alongside the powerful Lucario. For a deeper dive into what's coming, check out the video below.

Are you thrilled about trading cards or eager to expand your collection with Sinnoh legends? Either way, make sure to download Pokémon TCG Pocket from the Google Play Store and get ready for these exciting updates.
