Pokemon Center Hiroshima is temporarily closing its doors at the end of March 2025 and will reopen at a new location in April 2025. Simultaneously, a new Gyarados Plaza is opening in March 2025. Here's what you need to know:

New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima
The store will move to the second floor of Ekie, located at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Currently situated on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, the move marks a significant relocation for the store, which opened in June 2015.

Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station
The "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza, part of the new Minamoa building at Hiroshima Station. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Initially, reservations will be required to use the playground equipment; details will be released on the official Minamoa website.

Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, a nationwide event is taking place at Pokemon Centers across Japan (excluding Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe) from January 17th to February 16th, 2025. Participants can receive an exclusive sticker by obtaining a password from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024) and presenting it at any participating Pokemon Center.

Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with life-sized cutouts of the Poke-lun TV hosts.
