Get ready for an action-packed event in *Pokémon Go* as the Sparring Partners Raid Day event hits on April 13th. From 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time, you'll have a thrilling three-hour window to showcase your battling prowess, hunt for Shiny Pokémon, and engage with some of the fiercest fighters in the game.
The star of the show is Mega Heracross, which will be making its debut in Mega Raids. But don't overlook Hariyama and Scraggy, as they'll be powering through regular raids with an increased chance of encountering their Shiny forms. It's a bonanza for Fighting-type enthusiasts, so make sure you're equipped with the best counters to take them down.
Beyond the raids, the event introduces a new Charged Attack called Upper Hand. This move packs a punch with 70 power in Trainer Battles and can potentially decrease your opponent’s Defence. In raids and gyms, it delivers a solid 50-power hit. Adding Upper Hand to your arsenal could be the key to gaining the upper hand in your battles.
The event comes loaded with bonuses to enhance your experience. You can snag up to six free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs, and for this weekend only, the Remote Raid Pass limit is bumped up to 20, offering more opportunities to participate in raids from anywhere.
