PlayStation State of Play: February 12 Announcement

Mar 13,2025 Author: Penelope

Sony has announced a PlayStation State of Play stream on February 12th at 2 PM Pacific / 5 PM Eastern / 10 PM UK. This over 40-minute broadcast, available in English and Japanese on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels, promises "a creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world."

While specifics remain under wraps, anticipation is high for updates on several major titles. A deeper look at Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima (assuming "Yotei" is a typo) and a release date for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are at the top of many wish lists. Following last week's leak on the PlayStation Store, an official Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date trailer is also a strong possibility.

Other potential highlights include updates on Phantom: Blade Zero, an exclusive action RPG from S-Game; Marathon from Bungie; and Fairgame from Haven Studios—all intriguing multiplayer shooters garnering significant attention following Sony's handling of the Concord situation. With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, a special announcement isn't entirely out of the question.

Beyond anticipated updates, the possibility of brand-new game reveals and surprises adds to the excitement. Speculation continues to swirl, with some hoping for a PlayStation debut of a certain iconic franchise.
