Marvel Contest of Champions has unleashed the thrilling Murderworld event, packed with excitement and running until August 7th. This update introduces the X-Magica Showcase, the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, and a host of bug fixes and balance adjustments to enhance your gameplay experience.
Enter the sinister world of Arcade, the notorious mastermind behind deadly amusement parks. His latest creation, Murderworld, is a twisted theme park where entertainment meets annihilation. The stakes are high as Arcade aims to rack up the highest score by taking down as many Champions as possible. It's up to the heroes and villains to outsmart his lethal games or join forces to dismantle his deadly carnival.
Amidst the chaos, THE RAFT, the Battlerealm's top prison, is under lockdown due to rampant Gamma Radiation. As the Summoner, you step in to assist and encounter Patriot, who's in deep trouble. Meanwhile, The Leader's mind control, powered by gamma-enhanced abilities, is wreaking havoc among friends and foes.
Mark your calendars: Patriot, aka Eli Bradley, arrives on July 18th, followed by The Leader, Samuel Sterns, on August 1st. Eli, the grandson of the original Super Soldiers, co-founded the Young Avengers as Patriot, carrying on his family's legacy. On the other hand, Samuel Sterns, once a high school dropout working nights at a chemical plant, transformed into a super genius after a gamma explosion. Rather than using his intellect for good, he became The Leader, a cunning villain and arch-nemesis of the Hulk.
