When one unfortunate character stumbles into the feline horde, he isn't devoured like in typical zombie stories - but showered with affectionate licks. The catch? These kitty kisses transform humans into cats themselves.

Regarding the Dead by Daylight crossover, while specific details remain under wraps, Behavior Interactive promises announcements coming soon about which fluffy horrors will invade their survival-horror game.

Nyaight of the Living Cat premieres July 6, 2025 on TV Tokyo and other Japanese networks, with Crunchyroll simulcasting internationally.

For newcomers, this adaptation stems from Hawkman's manga (illustrated by Mecha-Roots) about a bizarre pandemic where feline contact transforms humans. Protagonist Kunagi must resist overwhelming urges to cuddle these deadly cute creatures to survive.
