Nintendo Unveils Latest Collaboration with LEGO
LEGO Game Boy Launches October 2025
Nintendo has once again partnered with LEGO, this time to bring you a LEGO Game Boy set, set to launch in October 2025. This marks the second console to be immortalized in LEGO form, following the iconic NES.
While this news thrills both LEGO and Nintendo enthusiasts, the announcement on Twitter (X) has sparked a flurry of comments about the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. One user humorously remarked, "Thanks for finally revealing the new console," while another quipped, "At this rate, the Switch 2 in LEGO form will be out before the system reveal."

Although Nintendo hasn't shared detailed information about the Switch 2 yet, President Furukawa announced on May 7, 2024, that they "will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year." Fans will need to wait a bit longer, as the company’s fiscal year concludes in March.
The pricing for the new LEGO Game Boy set has not been disclosed, but expect more details in the coming weeks or months.
Nintendo’s Past Collaboration with LEGO

Nintendo's previous collaborations with LEGO have celebrated some of its most beloved gaming franchises, including Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda (TLZ).
In May 2024, LEGO introduced a 2,500-piece set featuring a character from The Legend of Zelda series. The "Great Deku Tree 2-in-1" set, inspired by Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild, includes figures of Princess Zelda and the legendary Master Sword. This set is available for $299.99 USD.

Following the TLZ set, LEGO released a new Super Mario set in July 2024, showcasing Mario and Yoshi from Super Mario World. This unique set features an in-game sprite of Mario riding Yoshi, with a crank to animate Yoshi's movements. It's available for $129.99 USD.
