Get ready, Nintendo fans! A Nintendo Direct is set to go live tomorrow, and we've got all the juicy details you need to know.
Nintendo of America has officially announced that a Nintendo Direct will be broadcast tomorrow, March 27, at 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 A.M. ET. This exciting 30-minute event will focus on updates and announcements for upcoming games on the Nintendo Switch. However, don't hold your breath for any news on the Nintendo Switch 2; that's slated for a separate presentation on April 2. Nintendo has made it clear: "there will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation."
To help you plan your day around this can't-miss event, here's the schedule for different time zones:
What's on the horizon for the Nintendo Switch? While Nintendo is playing its cards close to the chest, the gaming community is abuzz with speculation. One highly anticipated title is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which has been in the works since its reveal at E3 2017.
Rumors are also circulating about Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a remastered version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and a new Mario Kart game hinted at during the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement. And let's not forget Hollow Knight: Silksong, which has recently been making waves again. Could this be the moment we finally get a release date? Fingers crossed!
While the spotlight is on the current Switch lineup, it's important to note that Nintendo has confirmed backward compatibility for the upcoming Switch 2. This means that any games announced during the Direct will also be playable on the new console.
As the clock ticks down to the presentation, the excitement is building. Will there be any surprise announcements? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: Nintendo always knows how to keep us eagerly waiting for more.
