Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an epic 1.5-year anniversary celebration, set to run from March 17th to 23rd. This special event promises increased monster spawns, exclusive quests, and a fresh way to earn rewards. It's your golden window to battle formidable beasts, collect rare materials, and snag unique event cosmetics.
During the event, you'll encounter a higher frequency of monsters such as Gold Rathian, Silver Rathalos, and Nightshade Paolumu in various habitats. These encounters will also be logged in your Monster Tracker, but you'll need to have completed Chapter 9 and unlocked 5-star monsters to benefit fully.
Not only will you see more monsters, but you'll also gain 50% more materials from each successful hunt, simplifying the process of upgrading your weapons and armor. Elder Dragon encounters will be especially lucrative, with double materials for repels and a 50% increase for full slays. Additionally, special Hunt-a-thon locations will focus solely on event monsters.
Throughout the event, you can engage in limited-time quests to earn rewards like the MH Now 1.5-Year Anniversary Medal, an exclusive anniversary outfit and Guild Card background, valuable materials such as Gold Rathian Plates and Silver Rathalos Plates, and extra Zenny.
For those seeking even greater rewards, Premium Quests can be purchased with Gems. These quests offer large quantities of Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos materials, along with extra Hunter Rank Points, Season Tier Points, and Zenny.
A significant new feature is the Event Exchange Hub, where you can trade Event Exchange Tokens for a variety of useful items. These tokens are earned by hunting monsters during the event, and the Exchange Hub will be open until March 31st.
