Monopoly GO Teams Up with Star Wars for Summer Podracing and Lightsabers

Monopoly GO! is about to take players on an epic journey with its latest crossover event, Monopoly GO x Star Wars, following its successful Marvel collaboration. This event marks one of the most ambitious crossovers yet by Scopely, promising an immersive experience that blends the iconic board game with the beloved Star Wars universe.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

The Monopoly GO x Star Wars event is set to launch on May 1st and will continue through to July 2nd. The adventure begins with PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, getting hooked on Star Wars while watching it in Mr. M’s private cinema. As PEG-E gets lost in the saga, she dreams of herself and her friends venturing into the Star Wars galaxy, shifting the focus from traditional Monopoly elements to an epic battle between the Jedi and the Sith, the light side and the dark.

What's in Store During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

Players can look forward to collecting a new Star Wars GO! sticker album, which unfolds like a comic book reimagining parts of the Star Wars universe through PEG-E’s creative lens. The album features stickers of beloved characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

The event also brings a fresh twist to Monopoly GO’s traditional gameplay, with mini-games set on iconic Star Wars locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Fans might even see Qui-Gon and Mr. M engaging in thrilling podracing action.

There’s More!

The event trailer, which premiered during Star Wars Celebration Japan, teases an array of Star Wars-themed gameplay elements, including lightsabers, space travel, and galactic vibes. You can watch the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab trailer below to get a glimpse of the excitement awaiting players.

In addition to the sticker album, players can collect various Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including tokens, shields, and emojis. Be sure to follow the game's social media channels for the latest news and additional updates throughout the event.

Get ready for this galactic adventure by downloading Monopoly GO from the Google Play Store and prepare to dive into the crossover when it launches.
