Monopoly drops a new Valentine’s Day themed update with new house rules and a quiz

This Valentine's Day, get ready for a romantic twist on your favorite board game! Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have released a special update for Monopoly on Android and iOS, packed with limited-time content to celebrate love.

This update features a fun quiz that matches you with one of four Monopoly tokens, each representing a different kind of love. Enjoy a 24-hour free trial of your matched token, with a discounted price available afterward if you want to keep it.

Experience Monopoly like never before with revamped House Rules. Choose from options like "Quick Hotels" (build three houses instead of four), "Quick End" (the game ends after the first bankruptcy), "Quick Jail" (leave jail on your first turn), and "Starting Title Deeds" (begin with three random properties). These rules, combined with skipping taxes, Chance, and Community Chest, create a faster, more streamlined game.

Adding to the Valentine's Day fun, a charming new set of Cupid-inspired tokens is available, along with the "Sweethearts" bundle featuring two adorable cherubs.

Radu Rovin, Head of Studio at Marmalade Game Studio, explains: “We wanted to create an event that celebrates all types of love this Valentine's Day, from friendships made while playing Monopoly to enjoying some self-care time with your favorite game.”
