Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is back for the 2025 Esports World Cup! Following the success of the 2024 competition, Moonton's popular mobile title will once again feature in the second installment. Selangor Red Giants triumphed this year, taking home the gold.
The Esports World Cup 2024 showcased two Mobile Legends: Bang Bang events: the MLBB Mid Season Cup and the MLBB Women's Invitational. Teams from around the globe competed in Riyadh. Selangor Red Giants won the MSC, while Smart Omega Empress defeated Team Vitality (holders of a 25-championship winning streak since 2021) in the Women's Invitational.

A Strong Lineup, But Is It Strong Enough?
Most games from the 2024 Esports World Cup are returning in 2025. However, many of these games aren't featuring their main events at the World Cup. For example, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s participation is centered around a mid-season cup. This could be viewed positively, as it avoids overshadowing existing leagues. Conversely, it might be seen as the Esports World Cup playing a secondary role.
Regardless, fans will be pleased with the returning titles. If this news has piqued your interest in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, check out our tier list of top-tier characters!
