These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest in a trend that has been captivating audiences since the 2019 release of Rise of Skywalker and its iconic R2-D2 popcorn bucket. The viral success of that snack container sparked a new tradition in theaters, one that continues to draw crowds with its novelty and charm, even if it has become somewhat commonplace and pricey. But if it encourages people to enjoy the cinematic experience, then it's a trend worth celebrating.
