MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's ESRB rating has shed light on the return of the Peep Demo Theater, along with enhancements to the game's camouflage system. Dive in to discover what these features entail and how they impact the gameplay.

Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by ESRB, confirming the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, a feature that was part of the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This feature allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA, but with a twist: she is shown in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, including zooming in on any part of her body. Accessing this feature requires collecting all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which involves completing the game four times.

The M rating aligns with the game's themes of violence and gore, as players navigate the role of an elite soldier on a mission behind enemy lines. However, the return of what some call the "Creepy mode" has surprised many fans, given its controversial nature and explicit content.

Faster Camouflage System

Another exciting update for MGS Delta is the streamlined camouflage system. A recent Twitter (X) post by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on March 28 showcased a video demonstrating the new, rapid camouflage switching feature. The post stated, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The video revealed that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a significant improvement from the original game. In Metal Gear Solid 3, changing camouflage was a cumbersome process that involved pausing the game, navigating through menus, and selecting the desired camouflage, which often disrupted the flow and immersion during stealth sections.

As the release date of MGS Delta approaches on August 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, fans are buzzing with anticipation for the remake. The combination of nostalgic features and quality-of-life enhancements promises to elevate the gaming experience.
