To kick off the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, you need to begin the Into the Underworld main mission. Your objective is to locate an informant known as Goatskin. As part of your investigation, head to the bathhouse and engage in conversations. Start by speaking with the Bathhouse Madam, then move on to Adam, who will reveal that Goatskin is the thief behind Master Schindel's stolen goods.

Next, you'll need to track down Goatskin. He's a shy character, so coaxing him out requires some strategy. You can either chat with Lousy Mary or tail Udo. I suggest the latter approach. Udo, a regular customer, appears on the first floor of the bathhouse in the evening. Instruct him to head home, then discreetly follow him. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in an alley, providing you with the perfect opportunity to confront him.

During your encounter with Goatskin, you can also try to acquire a map from him. If you fail the skill check, a bribe might be necessary. Once bribed, Goatskin will direct you to the Kuttenberg gallows on the southeastern side of the city, where you can find the Map of Kuttenberg Underground on a hanging corpse. Retrieve the map to aid your navigation through the underground area, which is notoriously difficult and maze-like.

How to Find the Stolen Items in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

For a swift recovery of the stolen items and to complete the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, head to the designated entrance on the northern side of the open area. Descend the ladder to enter the Kuttenberg Underground. Ensure you have your torch lit, as the area is pitch black.

Navigate by consistently making left turns until you reach a barrel at a dead end. You'll need to jump down to a lower level at one point. Continue following the left path at each junction until you discover Goatskin’s hidden stash. Inside the barrel, you'll find a book and an astrolabe.

After securing the stolen items, retrace your steps to exit the underground. Master Schindel can usually be found on the northeastern side of the city during the day. Approach him to complete the side quest. Initially, he might seem irritable, but returning his items will soften his demeanor. Engage further with him to learn about the astrolabe and its planetary functions.
