NetherRealm Studios has exciting news for fans of Mortal Kombat 1 (MK1) with the introduction of a new Kameo fighter, Madame Bo. The latest trailer showcases her distinctive fighting style, where she skillfully wields bottles as weapons, blinds her adversaries, and concludes battles with a visually stunning Fatality that aligns perfectly with her tea-house theme. The graphics are truly remarkable and leave a memorable impression on viewers.
In the MK1 storyline, Madame Bo runs a tea house and serves as a mentor to both Kung Lao and Raiden. She marks the second new character to be announced for the upcoming DLC pack, following the earlier reveal of the fully playable fighter, T-1000.
A fan theory suggests that Madame Bo in this new timeline might actually be Bo' Rai Cho. This speculation is fueled by her name, her fighting techniques, her use of alcohol, and her smoking habit. Given that Liu Kang has reshaped the identities of other characters from the previous timeline in the new game's storyline, this theory holds considerable weight.
Madame Bo will be available to players starting March 18 for those who own Kombat Pack 2 and Khaos Reigns. All other players will gain access to her starting March 25.
