LEGO Revives Simpsons Collaboration with New Krusty Burger Set

Exciting news for LEGO and Simpsons fans alike—LEGO has just announced the launch of a new Simpsons-themed set: the Krusty Burger. This minifigure-scale set is packed with Easter eggs and nods to the show's classic era, making it a must-have for any collector. Priced at $209.99, the LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger set is aimed at enthusiasts aged 18 and over. While it's not yet available for preorder, it will hit the shelves on June 4 for the general public. However, LEGO Insiders can snag Early Access starting June 1. This is the first Simpsons-themed LEGO set since 2018, when LEGO released the Brickheadz models of Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, LEGO Simpsons fans enjoyed just two sets: the 2,523-piece Simpsons house in 2014 and the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart in 2015. Both sets have been retired, making the Krusty Burger set a surprising and thrilling revival of the LEGO Simpsons franchise.

The Krusty Burger set comprises 1,635 pieces and measures 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its exterior design is reminiscent of McDonald's, complete with a drive-thru menu and window. The set features a hinge mechanism that allows the entire build to open and close, revealing detailed interiors including a kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. In addition to the restaurant itself, the set includes two separate buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."

The set comes with seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. This comprehensive lineup adds to the set's appeal and playability.

LEGO Insiders who purchase the Krusty Burger set from the LEGO Store, whether online or in-store, between June 1 and June 7 will receive a special gift with purchase: a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, available while supplies last.
