Surfer Jay, located in Honolulu, boasts superior base stats compared to earlier recruits. However, his recruitment involves a unique quest. The easiest approach is to first acquire Kraken-Chan in Madlantis.
Head to the arcade games within the tent opposite the Madlantis Golf Range. A UFO Catcher game may contain the blue Kraken-Chan plush. If not, speak to the attendant to change the prizes.
Winning Kraken-Chan might require multiple attempts; ensure you have sufficient funds. Strategically use the claw to nudge the plush into the prize slot. Once obtained, return to Honolulu.
