Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As you wrap up the Sweet Discoveries event, get ready for the regal excitement of the upcoming Crown Clash event in Pokémon Go, set to take place from May 10th to 18th. This event promises a thrilling opportunity to evolve the powerful Kingambit, adorn your team with costumed Nidoqueen and Nidoking, and earn bonus XP for your evolutions. It's the perfect time to don your crown and dive into the action.

Kingambit, known as the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its much-anticipated debut during Crown Clash. To add this formidable Pokémon to your roster, you'll need to evolve Bisharp. But here's the catch: Bisharp must be set as your buddy, and you'll have to defeat 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn't need to fight; just having it along for the victories will do the trick.

Adding to the royal festivities are the newly costumed Nidoqueen and Nidoking, both sporting dazzling crowns. Keep your eyes peeled for their Shiny versions, which might grace your collection if luck is on your side. These majestic Pokémon will star in three-star raids, while the one-star raids will feature Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

The wild will be bustling with activity, with frequent spawns of Pokémon like Slowpoke (which might yield a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, giving you more chances to catch this valuable Pokémon.

Before you embark on your adventure, don't forget to check out these redeemable Pokémon Go codes for additional benefits!

With double XP for evolving Pokémon, now's the perfect time to tackle your evolution backlog. The event will feature themed Field Research tasks and a catch-and-evolve Collection Challenge, offering extra XP, Stardust, and another chance to encounter Pawniard. Trainers at Level 31 and above will even receive guaranteed Candy XL for their evolutions upon completing the challenge.

Don't overlook the PokéStops during the event, as event-themed Showcases will give you the chance to display your most impressive crown-worthy catches. And to enhance your event experience, the Pokémon Go Web Store is offering a range of deals to help you gear up for Crown Clash.
