Strategic Turn-Based Combat

Eldgear features a straightforward turn-based combat system offering diverse strategic options. However, the game mechanics add a layer of complexity. The EMA (Embedding Abilities) and EXA (Expanding Abilities) systems are key to mastering combat.

EMA allows equipping three abilities per unit, usable at any time. These abilities range from stat boosts to tactical options like Stealth, enabling evasion or acting as a bodyguard. EXA, activated by maximizing Tension during battles, unleashes devastating special moves.

The enigmatic GEAR machines, sources of immense power, add another dimension to the gameplay. Some act as guardians, while others pose a formidable threat.
