Marvel's Wolverine Not Included in Recent Roadmap from Insomniac Games

In a detailed roadmap of future projects, Insomniac Games has kept fans eagerly waiting for any new developments on their highly anticipated title, Marvel's Wolverine. During an interview with Variety, Insomniac's Co-Head Chad Dezern expressed enthusiasm about the studio's ongoing projects and ambitious roadmap. However, he remained cautious about sharing specifics on Marvel's Wolverine, stating that while the team is excited, they must hold onto that excitement for now. Marvel’s Wolverine First Announced in 2021

Marvel's Wolverine was first unveiled to the public during the PlayStation Showcase 2021, accompanied by a cinematic teaser trailer. Insomniac confirmed that the game is being crafted exclusively for the PlayStation 5. In a 2023 interview with the YouTuber group Kinda Funny, Bryan Intihar, Creative Director of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, revealed that Marvel's Wolverine shares the same universe as Marvel's Spider-Man, designated as "1048." Fans had hoped for crossover events between the two titles, but so far, the only nod to Wolverine in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a suit called "The Best There Is," which Miles Morales can don.

In December 2023, Insomniac Games faced a ransomware attack, resulting in the brief public exposure of Marvel's Wolverine development assets and gameplay showcases.
