Hush, My Darling: Completion Guide for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Instead of Kuttenberg City, embark on the side quest "Hush, My Darling" from Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, located to the west of the city. It's time to put your blacksmithing skills to the test in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.

Speak with Martha

Martha can be found in the house connected to the forge in Miskowitz, which is in the southeast part of this quaint village. Enter her home and engage her in conversation, asking if she needs any assistance. When she mentions needing someone skilled in the smithy, respond with, “I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help,” to initiate the side quest, "Hush, My Darling."

If you haven’t yet, you can also speak with the bailiff about Matthew, part of the Dry Devil’s group. Conveniently, the bailiff is standing right next to Martha, making it easy to locate her using his marker.

Craft Horseshoes

You require two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you may have crafted earlier to improve your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge. After crafting the horseshoes, return to Martha.

Find Victoria

Screenshot by The Escapist. Martha will inform you that the horseshoes are meant for Victoria, and you can offer to deliver them to continue the quest. Victoria resides in a house slightly south of the forge. Upon arriving, you'll notice she's not home, and instead, you'll discover blood upon opening the first door on the left.

Approach the blood and inspect it when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha and update her on your findings. She suggests heading to Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.

Sigismund’s Camp

Screenshot by The Escapist. The camp lies south of Opatowitz. If you're also searching for Matthew related to the Dry Devil quest, you may encounter him on the path to the camp. Locate the blacksmith within the camp and inquire about Victoria. He'll recall a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent, as he's currently ill.

Screenshot by The Escapist. Black requests medicine before assisting you. Provide him with a Digestive Potion to alleviate his food poisoning. If you don't have one, you'll need to craft it and return later. Wait a few hours for the medicine to take effect before he's ready to talk.

Black reveals that he spoke with Victoria and believes she may have retreated into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump.

Victoria is distressed, so engage her in conversation about the situation. You can choose your dialogue options freely, as they won't affect future events. However, if you secured a promise from Black to look after Victoria, you can share this with her, offering her hope for the future.

This conversation marks the completion of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can proceed with the main quests or explore additional side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
