The HP Omen 25L comes equipped with an Intel Core i5-14400F CPU, a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core i5-14400F processor boasts a turbo frequency of 4.7GHz with 10 cores and 16 threads, providing robust performance for gaming. Upgrading to an Intel Core i7 CPU won't yield significant improvements, especially at higher resolutions where the GPU is the bottleneck. The system is cooled efficiently by a tower heatsink fan and powered by a 600W 80PLUS Gold power supply.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is a powerhouse for gaming at any resolution, from 1080p to 4K. At 1080p and 1440p, you can achieve frame rates of 144fps or higher in most games, making it ideal for pairing with FHD or QHD monitors with high refresh rates. At 4K, you can expect a consistent 60fps in most titles. Compared to the new Blackwell cards, the RTX 4070 Ti Super is significantly more powerful than the RTX 5070 and only about 10%-15% less powerful than the RTX 5070 Ti. It also matches the VRAM capacity of the RTX 5070 Ti and 5080, though it uses older generation GDDR6 instead of GDDR7.

This costs hundreds less than an RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC

While the RTX 5070 Ti GPU might offer slightly better performance, a prebuilt gaming PC with this GPU will cost you hundreds more. The cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on Amazon starts at over $2,000, meaning you're looking at an additional $600+ for just a 10% performance boost.
