Warbonds function similarly to battle passes, using earned Medals to unlock items. Unlike typical battle passes, these are evergreen—once purchased (for 1,000 Super Credits via the Acquisitions Center in your Destroyer ship), they're yours to enjoy at your own pace.
The Truth Enforcers Warbond centers around upholding the Ministry of Truth's unwavering ideals. Expect cutting-edge weaponry and armor sets designed to equip you for any challenge.
Show your allegiance with the new PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol, a versatile sidearm offering both rapid semi-automatic fire and powerful charged shots. Need more firepower? The SMG-32 Reprimand, a fast-firing submachine gun, excels in close-quarters combat. For crowd control, the SG-20 Halt shotgun alternates between stunning rounds and armor-piercing flechettes.
Demonstrate your dedication with two new armor sets: the UF-16 Inspector (sleek white light armor with red accents and the "Proof of Faultless Virtue" cape) and the UF-50 Bloodhound (red-accented medium armor, offering greater protection, and the "Pride of the Whistleblower" cape). Both sets include the Unflinching perk, reducing stagger from incoming fire.
Beyond the armor sets, expect new banners, cosmetic patterns for your hellpods, exosuits, and Pelican-1, and the "At Ease" emote—a clear statement of your Truth Enforcer status.
The Warbond also introduces the Dead Sprint booster. Maintain your sprint and dives even when depleted of stamina, at the cost of health—a high-risk, high-reward option perfect for critical maneuvers.
Despite a well-received launch with a peak of 458,709 concurrent Steam players (excluding PS5 players), Helldivers 2 experienced a player base decline due to initial account linking restrictions. While the restrictions have been lifted, the impact remains. The Escalation of Freedom update in August saw a temporary increase, but the current Steam concurrent player count hovers around 40,000.
The Truth Enforcers Warbond aims to reignite interest. The exciting new content showcased in the trailer may well entice returning players and attract newcomers to the fight for truth, justice, and Super Earth.
