Star Wars Celebration just confirmed Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka Season 2.
While details about Anakin's role remain scarce, fans will be thrilled to learn that Ahsoka's journey with her former master isn't over yet.
Christensen appeared at the Ahsoka panel during Star Wars Celebration and discussed his return to the iconic character.
"It was a dream come true," Christensen said. "The creative approach—exploring the World Between Worlds—was brilliant. I found it all incredibly exciting."
Ahsoka showrunner Dave Filoni joked that he had to devise entirely new dimensions just to work with Christensen's Anakin again.
Christensen also revealed extensive discussions with the creative team about Anakin's untold Clone Wars experiences.
"The animated series fleshed this out beautifully, but bringing it to live action was thrilling," he said. "While I love the classic Jedi robes from the prequels, seeing Anakin with a fresh look was exciting."
Later, Filoni explained how their shared history working with George Lucas helped shape Anakin's return, allowing them to develop a richer portrayal of the character.
"George's voice is always in my head saying, 'Faster! More intense!'" Christensen added.
