Finding ingredients isn't always obvious in Honolulu. This guide clarifies how to get Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp.
There are two methods: buying from merchants at Alola Beach in Honolulu, or catching them while swimming in the same location.
Grayson’s Weapons at Sea and Nolan’s Boat (shown on the map above) are the quickest options. These merchants only appear after swimming through nearby ocean sections.
You only need one shrimp for Kennosuke, and they cost just $1.60 each.

Swimming in Alola Beach is free and uses no health or currency. Swim to fish silhouettes and press the "Catch" prompt.
However, Wild-Caught Fried Shrimp are moderately rare (we caught four after about 50 attempts). Buying from a merchant is usually faster.
If you lack cash, fight nearby gangsters or thugs. One encounter usually yields enough for the shrimp.
