The Forge Falcons Rolls Out Helldivers 2-Inspired PvE Mode in Halo Infinite
Available Now for Xbox and PC!
The Forge Falcons, a renowned Halo community development studio, has launched "Helljumpers," a groundbreaking player-made PvE mode that adds a fresh twist to Halo Infinite. Dubbed the "Helldivers 2 mode" within the military sci-fi shooter community, Helljumpers is now available for free in Early Access for both Xbox and PC players through Halo Infinite Custom Games.
Crafted meticulously using Halo Infinite's robust mapmaking tool, Forge, Helljumpers offers a thrilling "4 Player PvE experience inspired by Helldivers 2," as stated by The Forge Falcons. This new mode introduces several engaging features, including:
- Custom-made stratagems that enhance gameplay dynamics.
- A new, highly detailed urban map with randomized objectives to keep players on their toes.
- A progression system that mirrors Helldivers 2's intuitive upgrade unlock system, allowing players to advance and customize their gameplay experience.
In Helljumpers, players are immersed in the action, participating in six missions per game, reminiscent of Helldivers' style. Before embarking on their missions, players can choose personalized loadouts, selecting from an array of weapons such as Assault Rifles and Sidekick pistols. These weapons can be respawned via the dropship, ensuring continuous engagement. Furthermore, players have the opportunity to enhance their capabilities through upgrades, which include health, damage, and speed boosts.
Once deployed, players must complete three objectives on the ground—a story objective and two main objectives—before they can extract and conclude their mission successfully.
