"Guide to Securing the A Prize Held High in Monster Hunter Wilds"

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a plethora of activities to engage in, and not all of them involve taking down the largest beasts. If you're aiming to unlock the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's a detailed guide on how to do so.

How To Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

The A Prize Held High trophy might initially seem related to dragons or wyverns, but the actual target is the elusive Curioshell Crab. You can capture this creature using your Capture Net.

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be challenging since it appears in various locations across the maps. Our most reliable spot has been in the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, which lies between Areas 2 and 6. If you haven't discovered this site yet, make sure to explore this area.

Once you reach Flowering Rocks, search the nearby puddle of water, a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If you can't spot it immediately, Alma can help. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, indicating the presence of a Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and then shoot to capture the crab. Successfully doing this will net you both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

The Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so you'll need to anticipate its path and shoot ahead of it for a successful capture. Other locations where the crab can be found include Area 13 of the Windward Plains and Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Although it can spawn in other areas, these are the most verified spots we've encountered.

That's all you need to know about unlocking the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and tricks, check out The Escapist.

*Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
