"Guide to Extracting Items in R.E.P.O. Game"

Apr 05,2025 Author: Aurora

*R.E.P.O.* is an intense cooperative horror game where your primary objective is to retrieve valuable items and survive the ordeal. It's no walk in the park, with an array of unpredictable monsters lurking around every corner, ready to thwart your plans. However, if you manage to escape with your loot intact, the game—alongside the formidable AI Taxman—rewards your efforts generously. This gives you the opportunity to stock up on essential survival gear with your hard-earned cash.

To secure the removal of these valuable items, you must successfully reach the Extraction Point where your C.A.R.T. of treasures is assessed, and the Taxman permits you to proceed to the Service Station—ideally with a hefty sum of cash to spend on upgrades and supplies.

As you advance through *R.E.P.O.*, the extraction process becomes increasingly familiar. What initially appears daunting soon turns into a routine as you master more levels and confront increasingly challenging monsters.

How to Extract in *R.E.P.O.*

During your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point. However, as you progress to new locations, this number can increase, with the maximum currently standing at four. You can monitor your extraction goals by checking the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen, which also indicates how many you've already completed.

At the start of each level, the Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck. This position remains constant, ensuring you know exactly where to return your first haul of valuables. Subsequent extractions, however, can be more challenging.

After dropping off your initial C.A.R.T.-full, you'll need to navigate the rest of the level as usual. The catch? You won't know the Taxman's demands or the location of the next drop-off point. This is where your in-game map becomes invaluable. By pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, you can view unexplored areas, helping you plan your routes and, if playing with others, coordinate your efforts to cover more ground simultaneously.

You'll only discover the next Extraction Point once you reach its vicinity, either by sight or sound. Upon locating it, press the big red button to learn your fate and whether you've gathered enough valuables. If you have, place your C.A.R.T. within the designated grey area to ensure all items are safely accounted for; otherwise, they risk being destroyed.

After completing an extraction, depending on the number of remaining points, you'll either move on to the next one by repeating the process or attempt to return to the truck unscathed. It's worth noting that after the final Extraction Point is discovered and the valuables are tallied, you don't need to bring the C.A.R.T. back to the truck. A new one will always be available at the next location or level.

Now that you're well-versed in the art of extracting items in *R.E.P.O.*, be sure to explore our other guides for more tips and strategies to enhance your gameplay experience.
