You Must Take Part in Revolution is a collaborative effort from Emmy-nominated journalist Melissa Chan and acclaimed activist artist Badiucao ("China's Banksy"), marking their comic book debuts.
Here's the official synopsis:
From Emmy-nominated journalist Melissa Chan and esteemed activist artist Badiucao comes a near-future dystopian graphic novel about technology, authoritarian government, and the lengths one will go to in the fight for freedom. It's 2035. The US and China are at war. America is a proto-fascist state. Taiwan is divided. As conflict escalates between nuclear powers, three idealistic youths—Andy, Maggie, and Olivia—who first met in Hong Kong, develop diverging beliefs on navigating this techno-authoritarian landscape. Their journeys toward transformative change explore the extent to which they will fight for freedom, and the people they become in the process. A powerful and important book about global totalitarian futures, and the costs of resistance.
You Must Take Part in Revolution releases March 4, 2025. Pre-order your copy on Amazon.
