Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is set to immerse players in the Star Wars universe with its next season, "Galactic Battle," launching on May 2, 2025. This exciting update promises a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass and a five-part saga filled with thrilling surprises. One of the most talked-about additions is the introduction of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale mode. This news was revealed during the Star Wars Celebration, along with a teaser of the upcoming Star Wars-themed content, including the addition of Force Lightning as an in-game ability.

The season will feature a variety of engaging elements:

The Battle Pass will include iconic characters such as Emperor Palpatine and unique mashups like the Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. The Item Shop will also see new additions, including Mace Windu. Players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters, exploring themed map locations and more.

The five-part saga will unfold over several weeks, each with a distinct theme:

• Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
• The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
• Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
• Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
• Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a live in-game narrative event, giving players the sensation of holding the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
