"Fantastic Four Trailer Unveils MCU Entry, Hints at Galactus"

Marvel Studios has just unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," giving fans an exciting sneak peek into what is poised to be one of the most talked-about superhero movies of 2025. The trailer introduces us to the beloved team—Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing—while also offering a tantalizing glimpse of the formidable supervillain, Galactus. Set against the backdrop of a dinner at the iconic Baxter Building, the trailer immerses viewers in the film's unique 1960s retro-futuristic setting, hinting at an epic showdown looming in New York.

The trailer showcases Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, alongside the team's quirky companion, H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics), as they engage in some light-hearted cooking. We also catch brief moments of Sue Storm harnessing her powers as the Invisible Woman and Johnny Storm blazing through the sky as the Human Torch. Notably absent, however, are any scenes of Reed Richards showcasing his stretchy abilities as Mr. Fantastic.

Adding to the excitement, the trailer includes a glimpse of John Malkovich, rumored to be portraying Ivan Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost. And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Speculation is rife among fans that Robert Downey, Jr. might return to the MCU, this time as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, either within "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" or teased for future appearances. Kevin Feige has already confirmed that the Fantastic Four will play significant roles in both "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars," heightening anticipation for their cinematic journey.
