It's been some time since the premiere of the Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video, but fans can now preorder the highly anticipated 4K Ultra-HD Steelbook edition of Season 1 at Amazon UK for £50. Although the release date is set for Monday, July 7, 2025, this special edition has already sold out in the United States at Amazon US, as well as at other UK retailers like Zavvi and HMV.
Amazon UK is currently the only retailer where you can secure a preorder for this exclusive 4K version, which comes in a sleek steelbook featuring Walton Goggins' Ghoul. If the £50 price tag is a bit steep, you can also opt for preorders of the Blu-ray and DVD versions, available for £30 and £25 respectively.
The steelbook case boasts stylish Vault-Tec-style artwork adorned with the iconic Vault Boy. The three discs inside are presented in a distinctive Vault-Tec blue color. This limited edition also includes a set of character-themed postcards, though a full product description is not yet available. The Ghoul, portrayed by Walton Goggins, graces the cover of the steelbook as well.

Whether you're a repeat viewer or waiting for the perfect physical release to experience Fallout Season 1 for the first time, this 4K UHD Steelbook edition is undoubtedly the best way to enjoy the series. We've confirmed that the 4K Blu-ray discs in this set are region-free, making it an ideal choice for US fans unable to secure preorders at Amazon US due to stock shortages.
While the series remains available for streaming with an Amazon Prime membership, the 4K quality of the physical release ensures superior audio and visual experience, free from the compression issues often encountered with streaming services.
