Elden Ring is making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 with the highly anticipated Tarnished Edition. This edition promises to bring a host of exciting new content to FromSoftware's expansive adventure, including fresh character classes and new looks for the beloved spirit horse, Torrent.
During the "FROMSOFTWARE GAMES EVENT Spring 2025" held in Tokyo on May 6, new details emerged about what fans can expect from Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. According to reports from Famitsu and translations by RPG Site, two new classes will be introduced: the "Knight of Ides" and the "Heavy Armored Knight." These classes come with unique armors, with each set being part of a quartet of new armor options in the game. The other two sets will be available for players to discover within the game itself. Additionally, the event teased the inclusion of new weapons and skills, adding even more depth to the gameplay experience.
For fans of Torrent, the spirit horse, there's good news as well. Torrent will receive three new appearances, enhancing the customization options for players. These new looks, along with the Shadow of the Erdtree content, will be included in the Tarnished Edition. Moreover, FromSoftware has confirmed that these additions will also be available on other platforms through the Tarnished Pack DLC, which is expected to be priced affordably.
