ZA/UM, following the reveal of their new game Project C4, has now announced a mobile version of the critically acclaimed Disco Elysium, exclusively for Android devices. Their aim is to introduce the game to a broader audience while providing current fans with a convenient, portable option. The first two chapters of Disco Elysium will be available for free on mobile, with a one-time payment option to unlock the full, ad-free game.

"We want players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase," stated ZA/UM. They emphasized their dual role as both creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP, expressing their commitment to delivering a high-quality mobile experience.

Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and screenshots for the mobile version. The game features new 360-degree scenes designed to immerse players in the world of Revachol, complemented by full voiceover audio to enhance character depth and immersion.

PlayThe official description reads:

This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium, designed to cater to the habits of today's mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," tailored for short bursts of play.

Disco Elysium is set to launch on mobile via Google Android in the summer of 2025.

It's important to note that, despite the studio name remaining the same, many key figures involved in the original Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM. Several of these former members are now working on spiritual successors to the game.
