Digimon's latest mobile trading card game, Digimon Alysion, was unveiled at DIGIMON CON 2025, promising to bring the beloved franchise into the mobile gaming space. Announced during the March 20 livestream, Digimon Alysion aims to capitalize on the success of other mobile TCGs like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap by offering a free-to-play experience where players can collect, build decks, and battle with Digimon and characters from the franchise.

One of the standout features of Digimon Alysion is its anticipated in-depth story mode, which promises to enrich the gameplay experience beyond traditional and competitive play. The newly released trailer showcased snippets of gameplay and introduced an all-female cast that will be central to the story mode. He confirmed that players can select from three starter Digimon at the game's outset: Patamon, Gomamon, and DemiDevimon, all beloved characters from the original Digimon Adventure anime.

Time Stranger boasts an impressive roster of over 450 Digimon, including fan favorites like Angewomon, Gallantmon, and Agumon, making it the largest collection in the series to date. This surpasses the previous title, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory, which featured 330 Digimon.

The game’s narrative revolves around two protagonists, Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki, who are secret agents for ADAMAS, an organization dedicated to addressing mysterious threats to both humans and Digimon. The main heroine, Inori Misono, and her partner Aegiomon, will join players on their journey through time, a central theme of the game as hinted by its title.

The event also highlighted other exciting developments within the Digimon franchise, including the 25th Anniversary PV of the Digimon Anime, new starter decks and booster packs for the Digimon Trading Card Game, and a new anime series, Digimon Beatbreak, set to premiere in October 2025.
