Prophecy Games' latest roguelite first-person shooter, Deadzone: Rogue, has exploded onto the scene with a phenomenal fan response following its Early Access launch on Steam. The game has soared to over 200,000 wishlists, secured a spot in the Top 10 Global Sellers, and attracted more than 100,000 players within its first week. Just one glance at the trailer, and it's clear why it's garnered such attention—its stunning visuals and non-stop, high-octane action pack a minute of pure chaos.
As you dive into Deadzone: Rogue and embark on your missions, you'll find yourself navigating a derelict spaceship, unearthing a gripping narrative about an AI that's gone haywire. You'll face off against swarms of biomechanical foes determined to reduce you to a bloody mess. But with an arsenal boasting over 30 unique weapons and a wide selection of items, perks, and augments at your disposal, it's you who'll be turning them into pulp.
The Early Access version features Zones 1 and 2, offering a suite of missions that promise hours of engaging content and access to various sectors of the spaceship. These missions are challenging, but in Deadzone: Rogue, death is just part of the journey. Each time you're defeated, you'll return stronger, uncovering new and improved loadouts to conquer the myriad enemy types and bosses you'll encounter across multiple runs, whether playing solo or in co-op with up to three players.
The full 1.0 release of Deadzone: Rogue for PC will introduce Zone 3, complete with new enemies, weapons, and gameplay features, set to launch after the Early Access period concludes.
