The extended production timeline reflects a focus on seamless integration within the revamped DC Universe, prioritizing quality over speed.
Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost will explore the origins of Themyscira, the Amazonian homeland, before Wonder Woman. Peter Safran envisions a Game of Thrones-esque political drama set within this all-female society. While still in early development (script refinement is underway), James Gunn has confirmed it's in "very active development."
Booster Gold

Booster Gold follows Michael Jon Carter, a future athlete who travels back in time to become a hero. James Gunn, in an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, stated that the script is still undergoing revisions to meet the studio's high standards before production begins.
Waller

Waller, starring Viola Davis, will follow Amanda Waller's adventures after Peacemaker Season 2. James Gunn has indicated that its development is sequenced after Superman, and that the script needs to be finalized before a release date can be set. Steve Agee has also confirmed the studio's commitment to quality over speed.
Lanterns

Now an HBO series (eight episodes), Lanterns features Hal Jordan and John Stewart investigating a murder that unveils a larger conspiracy. The series, with writers Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King, and director James Hawes, will be an earthbound detective story, according to James Gunn. The cast includes Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Ulrich Thomsen, Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, and Poorna Jagannathan. Gunn has emphasized its importance within the larger DCU narrative.
Dynamic Duo

A collaboration between DC Studios and Swaybox Studios, Dynamic Duo is an animated feature focusing on the relationship between Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. Using innovative "Momo animation," the film will explore their friendship and diverging paths, avoiding their criminal origins.
