Clash of Clans Is Going to Make Big Changes with Its March 2025 Update

Clash of Clans is preparing for a massive update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests and significantly altering core gameplay. This update removes several features, marking one of the most substantial changes in the game's history.

No More Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Times!

Prepare for a faster-paced battle experience! The update eliminates troop, spell, and siege machine training times, allowing for back-to-back attacks without interruption. Hero recovery time is also removed, ensuring your heroes remain constantly active. This change applies to Titan League and below; the Legend League retains its eight-battle daily limit for now. This update continues Clash of Clans' trend of removing outdated mechanics, following the 2022 removal of training costs. Supercell aims to provide a more fluid, barrier-free gameplay experience.

Adjustments to Accompany the Changes:

With the removal of training times, Training Potions and Training Treats become obsolete. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining potions and treats in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

Introducing the New Match Anytime System!

A new Match Anytime system ensures continuous gameplay. When insufficient real bases are available, this system allows attacks on snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles function identically to normal attacks, offering loot and trophy gains without impacting the defender's resources. This system, already implemented in Clan Wars and Legend League, expands to all multiplayer battles.

Further Tweaks and Refinements:

To balance the increased battle frequency, the number of trophies awarded per victory is being adjusted. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are standardized to 10 minutes for all players.

Download Clash of Clans from the Google Play Store and prepare for these exciting changes!
