Key bug fixes include resolving soft-lock issues when stunning the Grown Bourgeon and addressing similar problems on the world map. Additionally, the update improves localization for French, German, and Chinese languages, ensuring a more immersive experience for players worldwide.

The developers at Sandfall Interactive are committed to ongoing improvements and have promised more updates soon. While these patches are crucial, the community is eagerly anticipating larger content updates, such as potential DLCs. In response to fan inquiries on Instagram, Expedition 33’s lead writer hinted at the possibility of DLC, citing the game's success as a favorable factor.
Expedition 33 Director Recommends Another RPG Which Was Released on the Same Day
In a related development, Guillaume Broche, Creative Director at Sandfall Games, took to Expedition 33’s Twitter (X) on April 30 to recommend another RPG released concurrently. He praised The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, saying, "After your Expedition, check out The Hundred Line, another great turn-based RPG that was also released last week, and made with love by an awesome team."
This recommendation followed a shoutout from The Hundred Line’s co-director Kazutaka Kodaka, who, in a tweet on April 28, encouraged fans to play both games. Kodaka's series of posts lauded Expedition 33 and urged gamers to experience both RPGs.

Despite competing with other RPGs like Expedition 33 and Oblivion Remastered, The Hundred Line has garnered "Very Positive" reviews on Steam. Meanwhile, Expedition 33 continues to lead as the highest-rated game of 2025, achieving over 1 million sales in just three days.
