Square Enix Japan announced this milestone on their official X (Twitter) account, describing the game as a "masterpiece that transcends generations." This legendary title was a collaborative effort by industry giants Yuji Horii (Dragon Quest), Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), and Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy).
To celebrate this significant anniversary and show appreciation to the fans, Square Enix has promised a series of projects over the next year that will "go beyond the world of the game."
