Targeted for a 2026 launch, Onimusha: Way of the Sword promises compelling characters, a new protagonist, and engaging enemies. The game aims to recreate the historical setting of Kyoto, focusing on delivering visceral, satisfying sword combat accessible to players of all skill levels. Set in the Edo period, the protagonist will wield an Oni Gauntlet, fueled by the souls of vanquished Genma.
