Camel Up offers a unique twist on the classic horse racing theme, substituting horses with five lively camels racing around the game board. Players engage in betting on which camel will cross the finish line first. The race's outcome hinges on dice rolls, which are dispensed from a pyramid dice shaker, allowing for strategic betting between each roll. Early bets can lead to higher rewards, with payouts for the top two finishers.
The game introduces an element of unpredictability as camels can stack on top of each other, potentially carrying others towards victory. The second edition enhances the experience with new game modes, including rogue camels that race backwards, adding a layer of fun not found in traditional horse racing.
Designed for 3-8 players aged 8 and up, Camel Up is a quick-playing game, with sessions lasting between 30 and 45 minutes. Its vibrant design and colorful components make it an attractive addition to any game collection, especially at this discounted price. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your board game nights with Camel Up.
In other board game news, a variety of UNO editions are on sale this week at Target, including the standard version and Show 'Em No Mercy.
