This quest begins in Osaka, central Izumi Settsu. A woman in the city mentions a game involving origami butterflies—you might even stumble upon them while exploring. Collecting these butterflies, pinned to trees near real butterflies, reveals a sinister truth: the Butterfly Collector is a group of women kidnapping children from wealthy families.
Your mission: bring these criminals to justice. Five members comprise this faction.
Locating the Butterfly Collector Members in Assassin's Creed Shadows
Like other *Assassin's Creed Shadows* objectives, finding these targets relies on geographical clues. However, this guide provides their exact locations.
Shucho
Shucho's carelessness gives you an in. She's lost a kidnapped child in Osaka's Fishermen's District (southeastern tip). She's dressed in green and frantically searching at an intersection.
Mucho
Northwest of Shucho's location, near the Kojo ruins, you'll find Mucho posing as a family servant. She's struggling with her victim south of the ruins. The child's resistance will reveal her.
Richo
In Noda Village (north Osaka, across the water), find Richo in a bamboo grove. She's dressed in pink and checking on a ransom payment.
Kacho
Defeating the previous three reveals Kacho, the leader. She's north of Nishinomaru Garden (west of Osaka Castle) in a restricted area. Many butterflies indicate her location.
The Gamemaker
Finally, return to the Gamemaker's initial location. A former victim, she created the game hoping someone would uncover the truth. Decide whether she deserves punishment or a new beginning. Your choice concludes the quest, awarding 5,500 XP.
