Starfield is set to receive additional updates, promising new content and features later this year. On March 7, 2025, the official Starfield Twitter (X) account announced that the development team has exciting plans in store for the game throughout 2025.
While specific details remain under wraps, the team assured fans that they are working on something significant. They emphasized their commitment to listening to fan feedback, hinting at a substantial update. Game director Todd Howard, in a June 2024 interview with MrMattyPlays, expressed hopes for yearly DLCs for Starfield, suggesting that the teased news might be related to another expansion.
Improving Starfield Since Release
Launched in 2023, Starfield garnered critical acclaim but also faced mixed reviews for not matching the experience of Bethesda's previous hits like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Despite this, it became one of the top-selling games of 2023.
