The much-anticipated sequel to *Blue Lock Rivals*, *Basketball Rivals*, inspired by the beloved *Kuroko's Basket* series, is set to make a splash. Developed by Chrollo, this game promises to be their next big hit, with a trailer, confirmed release date, and exciting public playtests. Here's everything you need to know about the *Basketball Rivals* release date.
Image via Current. Mark your calendars for **March 14, 2025, at 5 PM EST**—that's when *Basketball Rivals* will officially launch. The announcement came with a highly anticipated trailer, which you can watch below. Don't miss out on the **official event page** for the latest updates and any last-minute changes to the schedule.
The release trailer is nothing short of exhilarating. It highlights some of the game's signature styles, such as **Aomine Daiki's** impressive dribbling and scoring, and **Shintaro Midorima's** remarkable full-court shots. While testers are already familiar with these mechanics, the trailer serves as a perfect introduction for newcomers to see the diverse abilities they can unlock.
Keep an eye on the *Basketball Rivals* **game page** and **Discord server** for announcements about the prerelease public playtest. Chrollo has planned to open the game to the public for 30-minute intervals whenever the Release Event page hits 20,000 interested people. This means the game will be accessible at 20k, 40k, 60k interested members, and so on. It's a golden opportunity to experience the game before its official launch, though I advise against spending Robux, as purchases won't carry over to the final version.
Image via Current. Currently, in the prerelease phase, *Basketball Rivals* does not have an official Trello board. However, Chrollo has assured fans that a Trello will be available upon launch. This board will detail all the customization options and styles available, similar to the format used in *Blue Lock Rivals*, with each main character from *Kuroko's Basket* having their unique style.
That wraps up all the essential information about the *Basketball Rivals* release date. As you await the launch, be sure to check out our *Basketball Rivals* codes to get a head start on your game preparation.
