How to Start Axe From the Lake in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
If you're yet to embark on this quest, head over to the tavern in Tachov. There, you'll find an NPC named Zdenyek the Mouth. Engage in conversation with him and prompt him to share something informative. He'll regale you with tales of a mythical axe submerged in a lake, setting you off on your adventure.
How to Find the Axe From the Lake
Before setting out, ensure you have a spade in your inventory, as you'll need it to dig up a grave. You can find spades in graveyards or purchase them from general traders in settlements. Once equipped, follow your objective marker to a large area near a pier. Begin your search at the pier, then head north along the road until you spot an undamaged tree, which Henry will comment on. Continue along the path until you reach a large rock, prompting another remark from Henry.
Keep following the path, and you'll eventually find a gravesite in front of a tree. Use your spade to dig up the grave, and you'll uncover the following items:
- Gemstone
- Silver Ring
- Marigold x5
- Broken Axe
Repairing the Axe
With the Broken Axe in hand, your next task is to restore it to its former glory. Visit blacksmith Radovan in Tachov and request his services to repair the axe. You'll need to provide him with a Fastening Material and pay a sum of 699.5 groschen. Fastening Materials can also be purchased from Radovan. Once repaired, the Broken Axe transforms into the Adorned Axe. Conclude the quest by returning to Zdenyek the Mouth and informing him of your success. You can then keep the Adorned Axe and wield it in battle if you choose to.
